Absolutely—campfires and BBQs are a big part of the camping experience at Basecamp.
You’re very welcome to bring your own off-ground BBQ or fire pit. Alternatively, you can hire one of our fire pits for a relaxed evening under the stars.
It’s all part of enjoying a traditional camping holiday in Somerset.
Firewood, kindling and firelighters are available to purchase from the shop. We kindly ask that you please do not bring firewood with you or collect from the woodland. Marshmallows are available from the shop! Perfect for toasting around the fire!
